The 117th Infantry Regiment, 30th Infantry Division HRS’s sole purpose is to educate the public to the traditions and mannerisms of the typical World War II soldiers of all nations, by providing a living history experience for spectators and visitors.
Veteran groups, town and village leaders, and educators, often invite members of the 30th Infantry Division - HRS to display their camps and participate in public ceremonies to raise public awareness of the sacrifices made, and to honor our World War II veterans.
Members have arranged educational presentations at schools to enhance the study of the events and the participants of World War II.
The 30th Infantry Division HRS strives for the highest standards of authenticity in all aspects of displays and collections of uniforms and equipment.
All items on display are privately owned by the participating members. Members of our group are available to answer questions on their "impressions" and equipment on display.
We encourage all visitors to ask questions of the re-enactors so they can gain a better knowledge of events and history of World War II.
